The boating or regatta blazer is a classic warm weather alternative to the classic navy blazer. It should never be worn at the office, but it is a classic casual jacket. It is great for afternoon parties near the water, or it looks great while aboard a boat. It can be paired with a casual shirt and cream trouser, or a shirt and tie. I have to be honest though, I don't own a regatta blazer. However, I am considering purchasing one for this spring/summer season. I think it will make a nice addition to the wardrobe.
