These tassel loafers are my newest addition to my shoe collection. They are Ralph Lauren dark brown shell cordovan shoes, and I love them! I have already worn them twice, and they were surprisingly comfortable from the beginning. Sometimes, shell cordovan shoes can be a little stiff in the beginning, but they break in nicely over time.

Those are beautiful shoes, Richard. Congrats, and thanks for sharing. I love tassel loafers, as you know. Tassel loafers have enjoyed (?) a certain reputation in recent years, but I remember when they were standard footwear for bankers, attorneys, and congressional aides (and an occasional parliamentary researcher or two ;). I do see tassel loafers almost on a daily basis, but they are usually a moccasin tassel style from Cole Haan, Sperry, or similar sub-par make (IMO). Which may be why they attract criticism from some quarters. Anyway, enjoy!!
