They Didn't Make Them Like That When I Was In School :)

If I am not mistaken, this is a british girl band called Girls Aloud. Don't you just love the classic uniform look. It is classic WASP style, and the look reminds me of my math teacher in high school. She dressed just like these girls (with a few more buttons fastened). And what about Blair Waldorf on the new show Gossip Girl. My wife watches the teenage guilty pleasure, and she has forced me to watch a couple episodes with her. Regardless, after seeing the lovely Ms. Waldorf, I stop complaining (she is like 20 something in real life). There is just something about a conniving WASPy girl that gets me going :) Anyway, look for a new post on Sunday. I missed one day of posting earlier this week, and I will make up for it by posting late Saturday night. Have a great weekend!

PS- The song Rich Girls is a good tune to listen to while reading this post. It is on the playlist.

Too strange...

So I'm cooking lunch for myself on this lazy Saturday afternoon. I open a bottle of wine and check my favorite blogs. I see Richard's and smile thinking to myself, "ah how I miss my NY prep school days with the girls school nearby...etc."

Waiting for the sauce to simmer, I turn on the tv at the same time and continue reading. What's on tv? I almost choke on my red wine..., a group of very pretty prep school girls in tartan plaid miniskirts, white shirts and ties. They were armed with submachine guns, firing away at some very hot brunette dressed in black.

Caught in the trance of sexy young prep girls firing away in their miniskirts, I burst out laughing. As I kept watching, I realized my mouth was open for at least 15 min. The sauce burned, overcooked the pasta, and dried out the fish...Wait it got wierder: spy prep school for girls, lesbian affair between bad spy good spy, Star Trek transporters...and just if you think it couldn't get worse, all dubbed in Italian! I think it's called DEBS or something. If it weren't for the 80's music they used, I would've slit my wrists.

Your wife makes you watch this stuff? Jeez, some guys have all the luck!

Gossip girls rules! Even men should watch it, especially the gents who need a few wardrobe tips here and there from Mr Archibald and Mr Humphrey!
