Caught In The Act

Remember my pesky touchy feely neighbor? Well, she is at it again! She came running over to my driveway with her friends to take a picture. Why she wanted such a random photo is beyond me. She is the lady all squeezed up next to me. At least I had on a nice madras shirt :)

Richard,
I once read of an old WASP term called the "PBO"-the "Polite Brush Off". It sounds like you tried this already but she is not getting the message. I feel for you because you are a gentleman yet she seems to be making it difficult. Thanks for sharing.
Great shirt by the way.

You are a star. Get used to it.

If I were you, I'd invite her over to your house for a viewing of Swingtown. Tonight on CBS at 10:00. A man can never have too much lovin'.

Such are the pressures of stardom. Perhaps your neighbor has a blog of her own?

Look at that - she's got her boob right up on your arm. You rockstar, you.

Richard,

I want to say how deeply offended we are that you publicly bash your neighbors after how nice we have been to you. We want nothing more to do with you and that is the last time we ever invite you to our home.

Richard, you life is like a Desperate Housewives' episode. You never know what's going to happen next. This is why I visit everyday.

By the way using the term WASP or calling Caucasians of English descent a WASP or WASPy is derogatory. It's like calling Negroes niggers and Jews/Hebrews kykes. Please refrain from using it from now on.

Thank you

anonymous,

I am glad you enjoy my blog, but I don't agree with your thoughts on the word or phrase WASP. From day one, I explained that the word evoked a certain style, not a racial or religous meaning for me. Therefore, I will use the term as I please. Please don't take offense, but that is just how I roll.

Even if we use WASP to mean White Anglo Saxon Protestant, what's derogatory about that?
