Running short on ideas for girl of the week or what? While she is attractive, there are many more that come to mind - especially from that era. ...say Farrah?

Chris radiated freshness and youth; Farrah did not.

Forgive me, this is so anti-wasp, but Chris Evert was a babe. She was my first big crush. She was everything a woman should be-strong but unafraid to be feminine.

Can you tell I was a fan? :) Bill

Richard, I knew you had good taste

Interesting post. I certainly can see the appeal. Olivia Newton John, Debbie Harry, and Tatum O'Neal were early crushes, for what it's worth. There were others of course, but I won't go into it here.

Chrissie? she was most adorable when first on the scene as a teenager, wearing little lady-like tennis dresses and her hair tied in a pony tail with a grosgrain ribbon.

Farrah Fawcett? No way, straight out of the Texas hollers, more in the Daisy Duke tradition.

I've always been partial to Tea Leoni, Brearley/Sarah Lawrence alumna. I hereby nominate her for your "Girl of the Week" tag...

I think it's cool that Peter Frampton came to her birthday party.

Longwing,
That's her first husband-John Lloyd. He's an Englishman. Sad that I knew that right away....
