It is obvious among the WASP community that the Japanese have a strong affection for Ivy League/WASP style. To my knowledge, I have never really made note of this admiration on WASP 101. So, after exploring some websites today, I found this wonderful photo at Tailor Caid Days blog (Japanese). This gentleman looks so happy, and as he should, he is well dressed. I simply love this muted, almost fall like colored madras cotton blazer. Personally, I think this could be worn during an early fall football game without the panama version hat. I also like the fact that he is wearing a tan pair of athletic socks, and strangely I do approve. What is even better, I realized that I have a madras jacket made of linen that I could use to emulate this look. Even though I will not wear it now, I may break it out for display later in the week. Who knows!

I can not sign off on this outfit. I’m sorry but he looks like a clown. The shoes look like golf shoes, and not your standard saddle shoe, but I could be wrong. If not, I can not see wearing this type of sock with a saddle shoe. If it is a gold shoe, then it’s ok.
golf shoe, I fat fingered it, sorry.
