Yesterday, I ordered my first made-to-measure suit of the year. It is a houndstooth pattern with a little more tan color than pictured above. The suit will be cut in a very traditional Ivy League style.
-3/2 Button Stance
-2 Button Sleeve
-Patch Pockets
-Sack Suit Fit
-Plain Front Trouser
-2 inch Cuff
It should be here in 6-8 weeks.....can't wait.

where did you order it from?
If the pattern is that large, Sir Richard, it will make you look stout.
It is not that large, and I ordered it from Adrian Jules.
Adrian Jules is a sound choice for made to measure stuff Richard.
Hey! Welcome back !!!
I was afraid the site was dying.
How is Worthington these days?
Survives the 2nd Greatest Depression well does he?
I look forward to seeing pics of the suit, too.
Good luck!
Richard already looks stout
That sounds great.
Can I date you?? I promise I'm a classically dressed, beautiful, white blond-haired, clear-blue eyed WASP. My family is pre-Mayflower. My father and grandfather are both named Richard. I fully intend on resuming this tradition. It's perfect. I want a beautiful house no younger than 200 years to fill fill with family heirloom antiques. Maybe I will see you sailing in Maine this weekend?
I enjoy this post, but it seems it was once much more... ???... fun!
And all because you had the guts to post the most pithy and sometimes asinine of anonymous comments.
Where have all the broad spectrum anon posters gone?
I so enjoyed when one poster would attempt to spread his hoof-n-mouth disease followed another anon's counter point. (Clothes horses get hoof-n-mouth, on occasion.)
Can you get the histrionic anonymous posters back?
Can ya get back to yesterpost when anonymous posters argued with each other?
Jane,
I am happily married!
Richard,
Although this is a wonderful material I do think it may cause the eye to wander to your midsection which is unfortunately not your strongest asset-at least that is what I have noticed in the past. Granted, you have not shared photographs recently and perhaps this issue has been rectified.
Richard,
I have to agree-it was once so much fun reading all of the over the top commentary on this site and it did take guts to post all of it. Now it is just people agreeing with you and telling you how wonderful everything you wear is. Yawn.
I'd really like to read a 10,000 word essay by poloist which I can never figure out and the guy who tells us how much he enjoys roast beef.

Are you serious? LOL! That was a joke right?
Richard,
Please do include the comments again. It was so much fun reading all of it, and I loved your feistiness.
I love your sense of style! :)

OH, I'm still here. I'm toning down on the 10K word essay's though. Probably because you can't figure them out.
