Making The Grade

After seeing this movie on a post at Ivy Style, I decided to order it from Amazon and it arrived in the mail today. And just moments ago, I finished watching this movie and I was very pleased with my purchase. The film has a decent story, but the preppy/WASPy/trad attire is unbelievable. Overall the movie deserves a B+ for the clothing on display, and it is well worth $15 bucks to add to your DVD collection.

Excellent, thanks for the recommendation. Always on the lookout for films set in a WASP environment featuring good style. How about a top 5 / 10 of WASP films?

Do you ever spend more then three minutes writing a post?

I'd like to nominate "Dead Poet's Society" and "Tea and Sympathy"

The top 5 would have to include this movie, which I recently purchased on DVD as well......also The Good Shepherd and School Ties could be involved

You could say "15 bucks" or you could say "$15", but what you wrote reads like "15 dollars bucks". Know what I mean?

I really like this movie. Some of the scenes are pretty lame, but the clothing has to be some of the preppiest in movie history. "Muffy" is my style icon.

"What do you recommend?"

"Lessons."

Loved that exchange at the beginning.
