My Camel Coat Is Not Double Breasted :(

Again, I apologize for my lack of posting. I have been having more Internet troubles on top of being sick with a sinus infection. I made the mistake of helping my father-in-law with some bales of hay, and it was loaded with all kinds of goodies that drove my sinuses insane.

Anyway, I am displaying one of my two overcoats, and I am saddened that I don't own a double breasted camel hair polo coat. This coat was a gift from my mother and though I like it, I wish it was a polo coat. I paired it with a Golden Fleece jacket from Brooks, and the same "pear" pants that were ridiculed in the earlier post. The photograph doesn't do this outfit justice, and the jacket appears to match the pants too closely. However, in person the two make a perfect match and to demonstrate the jacket's pattern, I posted it with another tie below.

So, maybe my Internet and sickness troubles will not slow me this week. Carry on!

Mine isn't double breasted either, but I still think they look excellent. ADG's is certainly a stunner though, I won't argue that.

Didn't "Marie" use that paisley kerchief to tie you up?

Good times...

I like the length of the pants. The blurry picture ruined my eyes for the rest of the night though...

I think double breasted is too bulky. Single breasted is a much cleaner look.

+1 on the blurry pics

This is all so well scripted. Richard posts an unusually blurry photo so that "Worthington" can bust on him in his comments.

The possibilities are nearly endless, limited only by his imagination and writing skills.

For daily use, single-breasted seems more practical, sleek.

A photo of Richie baling hay like some RL ad would have been fabtastic.

Good question on the blurry photos: is this the result of an unsteady hand or subpar/damaged camera optics?

R. You are good in the single breasted my man. The only reason I own the D.B. is that our friends at Polo had a fire sale and I had a bonus check in my pocket.

Really like the coat. Maybe its me, but it looks very heavy. Is it one of those where there is a removeable lining?
