Office Christmas Party

Every year, I have a feast prepared for my entire staff, and I invite them to my country club to partake. Some of these parties have been memorable, and others were just food and drinks. Regardless, one must always look good, and I am wearing:

J Press:
-Brownwatch Jacket 3/2 Roll Sack
-Flat Front Flannel Trousers

Brooks Brothers:
-OCBD

Polo:
-Club Tie
-Cordovan Penny Loafers

I love how items are being sorted by brand now.

Awesome.

There's nothing wrong with any of these items individually, but I don't like them as an ensemble.

Google turns up nothing called "brownwatch".

Is there really such a thing?

The jacket looks rather shiny. The effect is quite fetching. Very handsome!

Yes, J Press labeled the coat as a brown watch plaid. It is done exactly like a black watch jacket, with brown replacing the black.

Do you own OCBD's offered by J. Press, Richard? I bought one in blue with a flap pocket during their sale. I'm not quite sure if it will wear as comfortably as a BB, but it appears more durable.

Happy Holidays, sir.

I do not own any Press OCBD's. However, I am interested in purchasing one.

Christmas party for staff at the club? These days your generosity is commendable, seeings the poor economic conditions we're faced these days. Must have been a good year for Hedge Funds or other fruitful pursuits? Your tone comes a cross to this reader of your blog as a bit preppy pompous.

On the other hand do like your taste in attire though.

My suggestion to you Richard is to tone done the "To the Manor Born" banter, seems a bit silly these days unless you BRAVO Housewife.
