Being a Christian has always been an important part of my life, and every Sunday, I make an effort to get to church. On this Sunday for church, I broke out my Brooks Brothers red flannel blazer.
The blazer is equipped with many English details, and at times it is difficult to pair with a tie. Today, I paired it with a tweed tie and OCBD from Brooks, along with heavy weight khakis from Vineyard Vines. Also, I added a pair of plaid socks from Polo along with my trusty new loafers.
Enjoy this Christmas season, and be sure to spend time with your family. Merry Christmas!

That would be a " concerted effort"...not a "consorted effort". In addition, a concerted effort would refer to the activity of a group; not an individual.
Nevertheless, I like the Sport Coat.
Glad to see the reason for the season is not lost on you, Richard. God bless you and your family this Christmas. Merry Christmas!

When I was flying out of New Orleans I saw a spry gent wearing a red sport jacket, navy trousers and a white open collared shirt.
I thought it a bold move, and he looked great.
This is a terrific combination.
Maybe Santa could bring some new batteries :)
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Why is your home so foggy?
Nice. I like ths red sport coat, though I'd probably prefer a linen or silk number in a light red.
Happy Christmas!
What's the deal with that tie knot? Consider a four in hand. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Richard,
I love the Coat!!! I am just not sure I would have paired it with such light colored trousers. I am not a big believer in "Winter White." on men. All the best!

What denomination? Episcopal? Presbyterian? Congregationalist? Just curious.
I picked up a red silk blazer that I wore to church Christmas Eve.
