Richard Will Return Soon

I know I have not been posting much lately, but work has been overwhelming. I should be back in somewhat of a normal routine in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, enjoy the archives.

Has Brooks Gone Too Far

There is no question that Brooks is not the sartorial beast it once was, and they have allowed popular culture to seep through their doors. However, the extra slim fit shirt may be a step too far. I am a fan of the slim fit variety, but the extra slim fit shirts are not comfortable or becoming on a man in my humble opinion. I truly believe Brooks would do itself a world of good if they fully returned to their 3/2 roll days of Ivy League glory, but we know that will never happen.

WASP Reading: J.D. Salinger's - Catcher in The Rye

This is one of my all time favorite novels, and the novel contains one of my favorite fictional characters, Holden Caulfield.

Thinking of Buying New Belgians

Belgian shoes are by far one of my favorite shoes, and I am thinking of buying a new pair. The photos shown are the three pair I have narrowed my choices to, but one also must understand that one's choice may not be in stock. However, I am seriously considering the hard soled Belgian as I have never had this kind before. In addition, I think this particular shoe will have a longer life span.

More On Men Wearing Lilly

I have never been brave enough to wear any Lilly Pulitzer products; however, I absolutely adore the label on women. The CEO on the left does pull the look off with some poise, but it is still not for me. As I have pointed out before, I think the best photo I have ever seen of anyone wearing Lilly is TinTin from the Trad. I think the trick is to water down the outrageous prints with a blue oxford and navy blazer. This rule also applies to madras trousers.
