As I dressed this morning in my new J Press green tweed jacket and skull & bones neck tie, I fully expected a normal routine day. However, this afternoon, an interesting customer arrived.
This afternoon, a striking young lady tried to obtain services from my PR firm to promote a summertime hoe hoe party. The large bossomed vixen said that she was trying to attract women other than her friends to come to her party while dressed in trashy attire, and consider the purchase of adult toys. Wow! Never, did I expect to have this conversation today. Regardless, after much vivid imagining, I had to explain to the young lady that I normally did not do small PR campaigns like she was requesting. In addition, I was very nice to her, and I referred her to another firm a couple towns over. But truthfully, I was trying to respect Mrs. Richard and not place myself in such a situation. I don't think she would have appreciated this client, or her large bossoms.

"Bossoms"....sheesh Richard...the proper spelling here would be: "bosoms."
Nice sport coat..but the narrative is weak once again.
Bossoms or bosoms is probably perceived as a slang word. I think you may be a little over critical.
I just recently started following your blog and it never ceases to entertain me. I did not know you were in the PR industry! I am an ad/PR major myself and currently searching for an internship outside of Texas. I would love to know if you guys have any opportunities available! I would be great to hear back!
I enjoy your writing style very much and that jacket is killing everything!!!
I love that jacket!!! I would gladly choke out an online heckler in exchange for that jacket, provided it is in a size 50 Regular.
Ha ha ha, Be blessed!!!!
To Hillary Barton (and Richard may like this too) anyone in advertising seriously look up an Australian TV show called "The Gruen Transfer". In particular, they have a segment every show where two advertising firms compete to sell an undesirable product (notably the entire country of New Zealand - but perhaps you need to be Australian to understand that one). There are a few things on youtube.
Those pants are absolutely translucent! So you'll be attending this soiree solo?
When I type bossoms, it gets automatically underlined in red. This means it is spelled wrong. No such warning occurs with the proper word bosoms.
Richard:
In the Deerfield Academymilleau anyone who wears a garment, piece of jewelry or a decal on a vehicle of an institution with which they have no formal affiliation - ie former student, employee, faculty member - is considered declasse!
Obviously a member of the local Republican Party. Please send her my way ASAP.
Richard -
FYI Real Trads and Preps do not wear or sport garments, auto decals, etc. of institutions with which they have no official relationship. Such behavior is declasse!
Uh Richard....you might be understimating Mrs. Richard.
Money is Money. As long as it's legal, that is.
"....a couple of towns over" Where do you live Richard? In Dodge City? I hope your subject is able to host her hoe down at the O.K. Corral! Really, Richard this is lame.
A skull & bones motif does not signify that one belongs to the skull & bones secret society. I seriously doubt its members wear ties with such a motif.
Hillary - You would be bored to death in my town, and I wouldn't do that to you. But I appreciate your interest.
Jauregui - Thanks!
LBF - Did I say a couple towns over, I meant several states over! She should be there by six!
Yes, I think they are the cavendish model.
Kathie - You are a peach, but I think I made the right call :)
I may be the eccentric here, but I've always thought of green tweed as being an early Spring thing.
Richard, nice outfit, and the correct spelling for bosoms is...( . )v( . )
what do you wear in the snow? does it ever snow where you live? Sorry but I could not sport tassel loafers up in NY at this time
This "logo" was the Jolly Roger before it was Skull & Bones. It is in the public realm and can be worn by anyone.

Richard,
I know you live south of the Mason-Dixon Line, but those cream pants (Which are nice!) seem a little to light coloroed for this time of year. I like the shoes and socks though!!
The trousers are winter white flannel trousers from Brooks.
Did she have large butocks to match her bossoms?
Bosom is pronounced 'bu̇-zəm', with the first vowlhaving the same sound as the 'u' in teh word put and teh last vowl being a schwa sound. The 's' is pronouced 'z'. English phonology would require your spelling to be pronouncede as in 'blossoms' - without teh 'l' of course.
Is the shirt from J. Press, Richard?
