Another classic approach to mixing up the blazer is by adding a tennis or cricket sweater underneath. However, this look can be tricky because most tennis sweaters carry a lot of girth. Personally, I think you can create the best look and solve the problem by just leaving the jacket unbuttoned.

You're being too modest, Richard. That's not an opinion, that's a rule.
The other rule is that with such a sweater one wears a blazer that is one size up, especialy purchased fot this purpose.
Don't forget your white flannels with your cricket sweater old chap!

I agree the best solution is the tennis/squash sweater vest.
