A 2 AM Quandary

So, it is almost 2 am and I am perplexed about many things! I can't sleep from all the caffeinated coffee I drank at my friends home (blah...I prefer tea), and my mind is ceasing to wander. Let's start with the small stuff.......

1) This past weekend, I attended a black tie event outside. Throughout the sea of white dinner jackets and creamy white breasts bulging from evening dresses, the thing I noticed most was shoes (ok, the second thing I noticed most). It is without question that black oxford lace-ups and patent leather lace-ups are correct attire. However, I personally find these shoes appalling for evening wear, and I much prefer slipping into a pair of black velvet slippers. For those who disdain from wearing velvet slippers outside the home, try a pair infamously formal opera pumps (matte finish looks best) or Belgian loafers in patent leather.

2)Why would a blogger post images of men in their underwear?

3)Does Christian Chensvold really think he is cool?

4)Do the guys at Ask Andy Trad Forum ever get dates?

5)Will Blogger ever work so I can get my 2 am random thoughts posted?

6)Why have I subjected the sartorially interested to having to read some of the other distasteful blogs out there for their clothing pursuing pleasure? Why, if it were not for top notch bloggers like Laguna Beach Fogey and ADG, what would the world have done? Well, that's it then........it's final. Richard is back in full swing, so hold on to your drawers and get ready for more stories, photos, and non-WASPy Girls of The Moment! I am backkkkkk!

Good Lord, couldn't this nonsense just die and never reappear?

1) To each his own.

2) Latent homo, naturally.

3) It cannot be treated unfortunately.

4) Those with money probably do.

5) Get used to it.

6) If you must.

Maybe try not drinking while blogging? Stick with the clothes and not sob stories about how people dislike you or why one should wear velvet slippers outside!

Welcome back, Richard!!!

Pics of boys in their underwear? Not-so-latent homosexuality, IMHO.

At least Richard is straight. Why must we endure blogging by obvious gays (at best 10% of the general population) as if they were the only people with any insight into men's fashion? Nothing against gays, but I prefer not to see an entire field hijacked by any single subculture.

Some of the comments over at Ask Andy are just too far outside the realm of reality for my taste.

Good to see you publishing again.

Just what everyone wanted, another piece on womens' slippers.

Cease means to ends, by the way.

Yes, clearly Richard is straight and appreciates a fine woman. I called The Trad latent homo because he puts up a hetero front. Anyway, let's hope WASP101 gets back on a regular schedule now.

Richard, Good to see you back! I like the velvet slippers! Thanks to Stubbs & Wooton and Del Toro they've gained more presences. I references to the spineless Anonymous haters well, I guess that's something you can't avoid as a blogger! They really have nothing to contribute other than questioning your sexual orientation, sad, maybe some day they'll get over the fact that they have small genitalia.
