Gant is a brand that has gone through major revisions in the past couple years! The brand hired preppy stylist, Michael Bastian to give the label a new look, and Gant has made a real attempt to return to their old university shop style. Personally, I really enjoy Gant's advertisements, and I have displayed some more recent ones for this post. Enjoy!

Once a leading Trad shirt maker. Gant’s apparel today is cheesy hipster Asian made junk.
To hell with opportunists like Gant. Lets give our trade to manufacturers, like Mercer, Indvidualized, Brooks Brothers and others who produce their apparel in the USA!
Americans need to stop is consumption of shoddy Asian made products for their own long term welfare!
Anon 5:00 am - I hate to tell you, but there are very few companies that make their clothes in the USA. Brooks Brothers makes very few items in our country, and companies like J Press are starting to move production overseas. The fact of the matter is, I don't blame them! We have terrible trade agreements for our country, and the idiots in DC had better get a grip...soon!
Globalist liberals (and that includes the GOP) have gutted the US manufacturing base, whilst exporting American jobs and importing masses of third world riff-raff.
I quote the Muffster: "In keeping with current trends, it would appear to me that most of their focus as well as funding is being funneled into their P.R. and marketing."
If stuff was made in Red China, but the quality was good and the price fair, the griping would be much less.
Richard, I posted the Anon 5:00 am note. While I agree with the intent of your comment, domestic (Made in the USA) apparel manufacturing will be totally decimated if we wait for Washington to address the issue.
Remarkably a small but vibrant nucleus of US, Canadian and Peruvian apparel and footwear manufacturers, like Mercer, Bills Khakis, Alden, Red Wing, Gitman Brothers, Southwick, H. Freeman, Kenneth Gordon, Hickey Freeman, St. Croix, Wigwam, Sammuelsohn, Cardinal, Trafalgar,Rancourt, Nick Hilton, Madeleine Finn, Robert Talbott, JZ Richards continues to make high quality durable products that have lower costs of ownership than the junk made in Asia!
Hell, GH Bass, a favorite of mine for four decades, now produces USA footwear - admittedly at signficantly higher prices than their Asian made goods, but their superior quality is well worth the higher prices!
We need to direct our dollars to them in lieu of purchasing the junk made by the mulinational firms run by pirates like Ralphie Lifshitz and Les Wexner and cabal.
Anon: You and everyone on this blog can buy from the list you named, but eventually they will leave the US as well! The problem is bigger than you and I, and unfortunately, we will have to depend on the bums in DC to fix the problem. However, being that I have worked for a numerous amount of the bums, I can assure you it will never happen!

The improbable style combinations and wedged aesthetic direction of printed catalogs... now in moving pictures!
Muffy Aldrich also condemned Gant for being overwhelmingly made in China, and they show up in the corporate shell section of her vendor chart.
YWP nails it. Who drives an old open top car in the snow? Or wears a knit cap to family dinner?
The second video, instructing modern mouthbreathers to fasten buttons, was not bad.

Richard makes a good point.
Globalist liberals (and that includes the GOP) have gutted the US manufacturing base, whilst exporting American jobs and importing masses of third world riff-raff.
But all of this is about to change.
