Over the weekend, I picked up a new pair of critter khakis featuring a hunt scene. I wore the trousers with a navy v-neck sweater this morning, but removed it later as the day grew warmer. The look was finished off with my new Rugby Tweed Run Bow Tie, which didn't last long on the website.

Not my cup of tea personally. However, this kind of item can add a touch of eccentricity and even personality to an otherise boring 'trend' if, for example, one very often wears khaki chinos and wants to break the monotony every once in a while.
That said, it's usually safer to achieve sartorial individuality with accessories rather than with major items like shirts, trousers and jackets.
It's all about context. There's nothing wrong with the courage to be different. Most of us just prefer not to attempt it every day!
Excellent.
Richard,
I don't want to crittercise but the pants aren't flattering.
Richard,
You wear your pants to high - it makes your hips look larger than your chest - nice pants.
This site is unbelievably good satire. Brilliant!
No cuffs?
Many folks are content to rest on their laurels. Not so with you, Richard. Keep pushing it to the next level, old chap.
looking good sir,
This would look marginally better with some yellow socks. And no tie. And those bit loafers with no embroidery.
