Last Friday, before Mrs. Richard and I headed to Alabama, we had the pleasure of dining at our home with Mr. & Mrs. Crawford who publishes here at WASP 101. Crawford is without question my best friend in the world! Yes, I am actually closer to Crawford than my old chum Worthington who never writes and is probably chasing crumpet somewhere in Europe. Mrs. Crawford is also very delightful, and I always love spending time with her as well. She is without question my favorite wife of all my friends.

Richard actually pulls the panel tartans off well here. Sadly there is no restraint in the second outfit and it is an overdone mess that the wife should forbid.
The ascot looks much better than visible crew neck underwear, and as much as I hate those shoes, they work here. Embroidered slippers are for pajamas.
Crawford's coat is clearly too long for him. I hate the blazer crest too, just so you know.
This is the perfect Christmas shopping outfit and the perfect Christmas dinner with friends oufit. Jolly good choices. I will be wearing my Christmas plaid sportsshirt from BB for the 27th year in a row.Merry Christmas to all.

One, I don't recall saying why I went to Alabama, but I can tell you that I am not from there. Second, there are some preppy places in Alabama. Auburn and Alabama Universities are not slummy institutions.
