The Prep School Blazer From Brooks Brothers - by Richard

If there was a good thing that came from the publication of Preppy: Cultivating Ivy Style, it was the reminder to the world that Brooks Brothers once made a really cool prep school blazer. And fortunately, Brooks Brothers decided to remake this blazer. If I am not mistaken, this blazer was first introduced to the United States in the 1940s, and fortunately, I was able to secure one this week. I absolutely cannot wait for this jacket to arrive! It is prepped with a Milano Slim Fit, no darts, and 3/2 roll. Stay tuned!

Secure? Why don't you just say that you ordered it?

This looks like a nice item, although I prefer the lapel notch trim on the cover and the model's coat is too short.

However, this is costume that makes embroidered corduroys and tartan trousers look practical? Where would one ever wear this?

Richard, I don't know you, but ... you're NOT going to wear that, are you?

Are you trying to look like Carlton from 'Fresh Prince'? This is ridiculous.

I love love love this prep school blazer...... I couldn't find it in my size at BB and I don't like securing clothing without trying the article on first.......wear it well and proudly as you would in prep school

Although this might be useful in playing out one of my schoolboy fantasies, it seems kind of silly for a grown man to wear this in public.

Stick with adult classic clothing, Richard.

Cranky has struck gold. WASP101 needs a lengthy tribute to the onscreen stylings of Alfonso Ribeiro.

I think it's an incredible Item. I wish Brooks Brothers gave to customer oppsition of which colors they would like the jacket to be.
