If Only These Ads Were True

I am always amazed at vintage ads and their ability to display sexual prowess with fully clothed women. This wonderful ad brings up visions on Don Draper from Mad Men operating on the ladies, but it also creates an unrealistic interpretation of the old Ivy League style.

My Favorite Picture of Ralph Lauren

This was always my favorite photo of Ralph Lauren, and it should be imitated at least once in a person's life. The double breasted blazer, linen trouser, silver glen check tie, blue shirt, and monogrammed slipper(not shown in this view).

Warm Weather Special

Gin and tonics are as WASPy as it comes to summertime drinking! Furthermore, I love gin of any kind, but without debate, Hendricks is my favorite. It certainly is not for everyone, but the hint of cucumber adds a smoothness like no other. So finally, I can kick back and begin the consumption of my warm weather special with complete pleasure.

The Globe of Truth

Every WASP office should be equipped with a bar globe in my humble opinion. Why you may ask? Well, after repeated use, I think will quickly learn that their bar globe should be referred to as the "Globe of Truth". Having a discreet globe that can become a bar gives one an opportunity to be a good host. Second, most friends or acquaintances can not resist free liquor, so stock the globe well (Hendricks, Johnny Blue, Grey Goose, etc). Third, after about three or four glasses, your guests will tell you anything you want to know about whatever! Use information, accordingly!

The Most Infamous Suspect

Jack The Ripper is without question one of the most gruesome murderers of all time, and he also represents one of the world's greatest unsolved mysteries. As a huge fan of the fictional character Sherlock Holmes, I find it amazing that even Sir Arthur Conan Doyle couldn't resist the opportunity to sell stories by including the day's most infamous killer.

The press sold thousands if not millions of papers due to this despicable human's attacks, and many suspects arose after much speculation. Perhaps the most stylish and without question most aristocratic of these suspects was Prince Albert, Duke of Clarence. Was he the killer? The world will never know, but it is amazing how things come about during a controversy.

If you are interested in an evening of unsolved murder mysteries, pick up a book or research the Jack The Ripper saga. Though gruesome, you will find it interesting.

A True Classic Wedding

Without question, William and Catherine had a magnificent wedding and the new Duchess is certainly a lovely sight. However, I think we often forget how debonair the Prince of Wales is with his bullet proof double breasted attire. In my humble opinion, his second wedding was a display of ultimate classic wedding attire. Plus, don't you just love the yellow vest and purple socks of the older gentleman to the right in the photo (I assume he is related to Mrs. Parker Bowles). Yes, relish in the new wedding, but let's not forget the classic displays of the past.
