Unfortunately, it appears that spring is here in my neck of the woods. Blast, it reached 84 degrees today, and therefore, I brought out the red chinos. Not to be confused with the salmon colored Nantucket Reds, but red chinos are clearly part of the prep persona. They look great with a navy blazer, and this spring will give all WASPs a chance to sport bright colored chinos. Try on a pair!

Your shirt is too slim for your build. It makes you look bottom-heavy. Also, those socks are all wrong for spring. I do like red pants, though.
Nice! That picture could pass for a Ralph Lauren advertisement. (If your head wasn't cut off, that is.)
I don't get it. Where's your lawn? You can't be in the City, unless you're in some part of the City that I've never seen. So you must be in the country. But then, where's your lawn? This is a very confusing picture.
Nice weekend outfit for a weekend social occasion! I wouldn't wear it to work unless your job is at yacht club or a manager at restaurant or local college town clothing store.
Just my opinion.
There is nothing better than Nantucket reds from Murray's Toggery on Main street in Nantucket. While other reds are colorful, they are no match for the real thing
If you're going to opt for extra-slim shirts, you should probably get your trousers tailored accordingly to balance out your silhouette.
Agree with Dasher and Anon. The extra-slim shirt throws the outfit out of whack. In all honesty, you should replace the shirt with something fuller. There's no virtue in trying to cram yourself into something that doesn't fit. That's a lesson many, many Americans could stand to learn.
Dasher's right. The top-bottom imbalance gives you a "clown pants" look. However, I'd suggest changing the shirt rather than the pants.
