You should definitely get a kilt, Richard. Find one to match that blazer with the sunshine fringe.

Or, you know, Scottish

You're a royal douchebag, so you should be all set. And you already do a great deal of puling off.

At the risk of drawing considerable fire, I've always though Charles looked rather dashing in a kilt as a younger man before the troubled times took hold. On this side of the Atlantic though, unless one was attending a Highland Games festival or joined a bagpipe and drum corps, I'd be real careful about adopting the look. People just wouldn't understand.

Best Regards,

I'll weigh-in on this as someone who owns one. The kilt is a great option for occasions calling for black tie. It is technically illegal to wear one unless you can prove some family connection to the tartan. It is great country attire, but may be best left to Highland games and events on this side of the pond. I know one strapping lad who is fond of wearing his to the local bars and pubs, where not one soul has ever been brave enough to slight him.

And to Prinz Ulrich von Boffke, I'd say HRH the Prince of Wales looks rather dashing much of the time, in and out of Scotland. A royal income, Turnbull and Asser, and suiting by Gieves & Hawkes go a long way.
