Mixing Prints~ by Kipp
Normally I tend to say stick with one bold print in an outfit. However, if it is divided by a solid like above then two prints can go well together. I am wearing a paisley Vineyard Vines silk skirt that is one of my summer favorites, a RL oxford, and a Smathers and Branson pink houdstooth headband. This outfit is a great casual Spring/Summer ensemble that brings out the seasons colors. These two prints would look horrid if directly together, such as a print shirt, because the distance is too close. If you separate the prints it is much easier on the eye, and the houdstooth is only on a larger headband. Summer is a time of bold prints, such as madras, so be careful and make sure you do not over do it or you will end up looking like a preppy mess.

I recently ventured into the mixing prints realm with great success. Stripes and some checkering on my tie have worked well.
It took me out of my comfort zone at first, but now I am able to do it with supreme confidence.
Nobody mixes prints like you, Kipp.
