Don't You Just Hate Snobbish and Fake Wannabes - by Richard

I despise fake people, and even more, I despise fake snobbish people.  Years ago, I knew this witch of a girl that could pretend to fit in with preppy/in crowd very well.  However, she was a queen you know what, and did she ever irritate me.  She would be hateful just because she could, and she would say some of the most fake and stupid things.

Once while at a gathering she repeatedly told this girl (while intoxicated) that she was going to run that town (New York).  I have never heard of the girl running the town since.  I don't really know the
exact point of this story, but I  despised that girl. Still do!

Yo, did Blair ever lift her exiling of Jenny Humphries from Manhattan? I never saw most of last season.

Maybe you hate snobs. But this site appears guilty of fakery as well. The WASP style concept here is way too dogmatic. It's like the Ralph Lauren stuff. It's obsessed by fixed ideas of northeast prep school images.

Was this girl Beyonce?

This is the sort of post that makes it difficult to believe this blog is real. Really, the pictures of Richard's living space are the only things that make it believable.

Wow, I almost fell down from my chair when I read this post. I've been following your blog for some years now and I always considered you the most fake of the snobbish wannabes.
You furnished your house with countless fake antiques, you put a fake family crest on your blog, you seem to own nothing from before your birth.
You might be a connoisseur, but don't look from above your fellows wannabes.

I'm not really sure what to say here. I enjoy this blog but if we're on the subject of fake, this blog is definitely not authentic prep. The home/office furnishings, while done to sort of mimic a preppy style, are clearly sourced from JC Penney and the like and I hate to say it, but I will....real deal preppies (at least those here in NYC and the Northeast) are not overweight as "Richard" and "Kipp" are. The preppy women here are rail thin. But it's still nice to see a blog dedicated to emulating the culture.
