Normally I hate shorts. However, I was wandering around our local Lilly store and I came across this pair. Between the seersucker and the scalloped bottom I had to try them on. I was surprised how well they fit and although they are a tad bit short they are a great new addition to my spring wardrobe. I also love that this outfit combines two of my favorite color combinations : navy and pink as well as navy and yellow !
The problem with many shorts is that people do not get the right size. Many girls opt for shorts that are two sizes too small and basically look like undergarments. This is flattering on probably 5 people and the length of shorts should never be that short. Shorts are something that I do not recommend buying online, you have to try them on. The cut is of the utmost importance and finding the right pair takes time and dedication.

Kipp, you seriously think that these frilly pink shorts don't look like undergarments?
The shorts look a smidge see-through. Many of us are not adventurous enough to walk that line, no matter how flesh-toned my undies are...
I agree about the fabric of the shorts, however, the addition of the blazer does help to conceal this a bit. My concern with this outfit is the fit of the OCBD. It seems to be pulling a bit at the bust, which a lady does not allow to happen under any circumstances. As a busty girl myself, I would suggest purchasing the size that fits the bust and having the rest of the garment altered. A good tailor can be your best friend.
It's pretty easy to tell which of these comments were made by males and which were made by females.
