Recently, my go-to-tie has been my Brooks Brothers navy tie with golden lions crested on it. The tie goes with everything, and it is as or more versatile than my navy and gold repp stripe tie. I must recommend this tie to all aspiring preps/WASPs.
About five or six years ago, I was in the downtown Seattle Brooks Bros. and asked two 'salespeople' (a young man and woman) to help me find their club ties. Of course, they had no idea what I was talking about.

They had this tie last season, but they do have a similar one with their emblem and crossbones.
