A Fun Filled Sunday

I usually take Sunday to rest from a hectic week, but today was very busy.  After church, I went to organic grocerer to buy the weeks groceries, and ended up in an antique store buying Chinese porcelain.  Then it was back home to walk the dog, and venture out to dinner with one of my good friends.  We then arrived back at my home and enjoyed some egg nog and the watched the Packers and Giants game.  It is now late, and I am here in bed typing up this post.  The day wasn't strenuous, but it was a lot more active then the long nap I usually take.

Clothing:

Brooks Brothers Social Primer Tailgate Blazer
Rugby Pink OCBD
Polo Regimental Tie
Rugby Green Chinos
Brooks Brothers BB#1  socks
Bass Weejuns

That should be, "...a lot more active than (not then)..."

What am I going to do with you, Richard?

On the WASPY side, you've got a nice combover. On the un-WASPY side, those sideburns are uneven and too long.

A nice ensemble, and I dig those socks peeking out from beneath your pants!

Best Regards,

I hate to tell you, but that's not real Chinese porcelain. Whatever you paid for it, you paid too much.

That is not the vase that I bought. It is much smaller and in my office.

Strenuous? A little sweat won't kill you. Nice ensemble.

What on earth is WASPy about a combover?!? Richard, this is really getting to be a bit over the top.

What happened to the Clue game you used to display? Also, as others noted: (1) that vase is crap, and (2) what's with the midlife crisis comb-over?

Like the tie. Were you rooting for the Giants or the Pack?

If you are implying that I am bald or balding, you are insane. I simply have a side part.

Ignore the haters!

Whoa!!! Richard has a head! And (some) hair! But no face? You and Kipp should get over your secrecy. It's not like people would know you even if you showed your faces (or announced your real names, etc.) Oh well, maybe this is a step in the right direction.

Above the waist, your outfit is great. Below...kind of looks like you robbed a Christmas elf. I think this whole "slim" trend has about run its course, and people should go back to wearing normal cuts in their pants, shirts, jackets, etc.

Keep up the great blogging!

It does look like your hairline is receding, but I think it adds a dignified look. It's far better than what most men's hair looks like.

why do comments have to be approved

I think your a very handsome man. If it weren't for you being married, I'd ... still be single? Doesn't matter. Your good looking.

Please filter comments by "Anonymous" I enjoy productive criticism but do not enjoy reading the hater's nasty comments, a true educated WASP would not do that!

Good outfit. I agree with a previous poster that the slim thing is a bit overboard at this point. It seems like an over correction for the fact that so many people don't go to the tailor.

I would also touch up my clothes with an iron if I were you.

The pants are a bit tight, but everything else looks great -- especially the socks. Well done.
