WASPy Thanksgiving Day Part 2.

When traveling to grandma's for Thanksgiving, it is always good to step it up just a notch.  In order to achieve this, I reccomend trying Bass Weejuns with tassels.  The shoes are made just like the Bass Weejun penny loafers, but with tassels.  I recently picked up this pair and they are quite delightful.  Usually, I find Bass shoes very tight, and it is difficult to locate a wide version.  These however fit perfectly.  So when crawling in the Jeep Woody Wagoneer on Thanksgiving Day, don't forget the tassel loafers.

Good call. You might also want to consider Church's Keats:

Today's Weejuns are cheap--in both senses. Have your finances declined?

This may be your most vapid post ever...and that is saying a lot.

Show us a picture of your Wagoneer!

You have a Grand Wagoneer?!

Seriously, Richard. Weejuns are for poor people who can't afford nice shoes.

I concur in judgment with the Sportsman. It sounds like you're narrating a commercial.

Simply brilliant post old boy. Thanks so much for sharing these smashing thoughts. This blog is my absolute favorite, with that Maximimus chap being next in line. Keep up the great work, old boy!

Bass used to be a great shoe and all Wasp Preps worn them to school..and sometimes to the beach (or so it would seem...but they have been cheap garbage for the past 20 years..and are only found a place called an "outlet" these days. Seriously, no true WASP/Prep shops at an outlet
