Recently, a friend gave me a nice Christmas present! The gift was an original Alken print. I framed the print and recently placed it in my fox hunt theme guest bathroom. The shower is seldom used in this room since I never have any guests that stay the night. Who would want to visit me, right!

The print's nice enough, but you really should get it reframed (and without the ribbon or whatever that is on there). Go for something with a little class.
Yeah, the frame does look a bit like a Pier 1 job. It just distracts from the print, as does the ribbon--big time.
And I'd send you some tartan toilet paper to go with O'Shanter's fox scent soap.

What you have looks like a copy of the print from the books "Illustrations of Popular Songs." However, there are inconsistencies between what I can see of your print and the print from that book. You may have something "in the style" of Alken. There are several prints made like that.

Alken signed it at the bottom. Not sure of its origination, but the giver said it was 122 years old. I used the ribbon to envoke conversation.
My toilet is special Main Line.

The ribbon must go....... so tasteless. But the print is lovely and if better framed it will be perfect for your bathroom
The ribbon is fine. Adds a bit of tartan whimsy. Little quirks in dress or decor are what makes preppy classic and interesting. Forget all these silly people.
